Due to recent changes to the new US import tariff requirements set out in Executive Order 14324, effective immediately, Australia Post has suspended postal services indefinitely to the USA and Puerto Rico.
Australia Post has partnered with an authorised US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) third-party provider on solutions to comply with the new CBP requirements, however no timeline has been announced.
The most notable change is the requirement to prepay new duties and taxes on all shipments prior to their arrival into the US. A new third-party handling fee will also apply.
Once Australia Post has introduced their new processes for tariff compliance, these new duties, taxes and handling fees will have to be added to the standard postage costs and passed on to our customers for each parcel shipped to the US.
Regretfully, until an effective system is in place VMX Magazine is unable to supply magazines or merchandise to our valued US customers.
